La Guirlande des Mois, 1917-1920: L'eau. An abbot is wetted by a naked woman in a pond. He carries a cape, black frak and knee pants. A calot on the head. Black shoes with square buckles and red heels. In the background two declared women with identical decorated and high hairstyles. According to fashion, the clothing and hair styles are from the second half of the eighteenth century. The print is probably part of the Almanac La Guirland des Mois (1917-1920) by George Barbier.
