The monument to cats in Zelenogradsk was opened on June 26, 2014. The author of the sculpture is the blacksmith master Igor Romashenko. The monument is made of metal elements on a cast iron base, which can be used by children as an attraction: the structure rotates freely. The height of the monument is meters. The sculpture is made in Simferopol. Tomcat Murr, being a kind of symbol of Kaliningrad-Königsberg, became the prototype of the sculpture. At the base of the monument you can see flounder - the symbol of Zelenogradsk.
