He was the only child of Thomas Ottley, Esq., of Pitchford, by Catherine, daughterof Sir Robert Bankes Jenkinson, 4th Bart., and he was thelast male heir of his family, who had held Pitchford forthirteen generations, in direct male descent from father toson for 334 years, from 1473 to 1807. He was born 17 March,1744-5, and died unmarried 16 February, 1807, aged 61, andwas buried at Pitchford 23 February, 1807, when his cousin,the Honb,e- C. C. C. Jenkinson, afterwards 3rd Karl of Liver-pool, succeeded to his estates in cos. Salop and three-quarter length. Standing. Dressed in whiterobe, with red drapery. Fair hair.
