Hill, wereannounced the 15th by regimental order (both dating 14th) ; andLieut. Emmons was directed to relieve Capt. AViggiu, and M. Jackson was directed to act as adjutant. Co. B left Head-quarters at Mitchells that day, and went to the Edding plantation,about 5 miles distant, and on the bank of the North Edisto River,from whence they could see the rebels on the mainland.
