Ducal Palace of the town of Medinaceli in the province of Soria, Castilla y León, Spain


The ducal palace of Medinaceli occupies an entire side of the Plaza Mayor. Construction of the seventeenth century, construction began in 1625 commissioned by the Duke of Medinaceli. Its architect was Juan Gómez de Mora, nephew of Francisco de Mora, with whom he had worked in the Ducal Palace of Lerma and with whom he has a great resemblance.
