The WWI German Military Cemetery of Vladslo in Flanders on the Salient Battlefield of Belgium

Vladslo German Military cemetery is one of few German Cemeteries in Belgium. The focal point is the Brooding Parents mourning the loss of their son Peter Kollwitz who lies in the grave in front of them. During WWII Hitler wanted the memorial removed on the grounds it was disrespectful to the German Soldier. The graves mark the names of 20 soldiers.
