Gorgosaurus libratus dinosaur, artwork. This predator is a smaller relative of the later Tyrannosaurus. Here, it is moving stealthily through a coniferous forest, looking for prey. Its fossils are found in North America, dating from the late Cretaceous (about 70 million years ago).
