The frameis equipped with a novel device (patent pending) that furnishessufficient tension to the belt shipping mechanism to prevent the Page 18 belt from creeping from tight pulley on to loose pulley, or vice-versa, and thereby stopping or starting the frame Vhen suchchange is not desired. Liability of accident to an operator whilechanging the gearing, by the unexpected starting of the frame,is avoided by the use of a locking device applied to the belt ship-ping mechanism.
