Wounded Veteran Tests Hand Cycle
Sterling Heights, Michigan - Ben Maenza (left), who lost both legs while serving in the Marine Corps in Afghanistan, prepares to test a handcycle prototype at the General Motors Technical Center. Maenza is part of the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans. The handcycles are being developed by James Cook (right), and other engineering students at Michigan Technological University with help from General Motors engineers.
