For a number of years I have put a great deal of thoughtand study on this topic and I will show you today what Ihave developed in the way of presenting this subject to theschools. In the summer of 1891 or 1892 there was a teachers insti-tute held in our city and the superintendent of schools invitedthe different professional men to come in on the severalevenings and make addresses along their special lines of was invited as a dentist and talked on Dental Anatomy andHygiene in Our Schools. It is a recognized fact that ourschool text-books and the literature of the day have but com-paratively little to say along those lines. This has been some-what improved, however, in our later editions.
