They not only produce a beautiful orchard but bring added revenue from the sale of nuts. Many growers now have orchards in production and report ready sale on the nuts at 50c to 90c per lb. All of our trees are grown from seed gathered from isolated groves in Northern Penn., the original trees in these groves coming direct from the U. S. D. A. several years ago. There is a vast difference in the quality of nut as well as tree characteristics being offered from various sources. It is well to know the type you are buying and should insist on having such information. Trees producing poor edible nuts are a total loss in time, money and disappointment to all. We offer only care- fully selected strains which are, (1) Early bearing, (2) Rapid growing. (3) Heavy Producing. (4) High quality sweet nuts very similar to the old time chestnut. They are about the same size, same rich brown color and same sweet kernel. No other varieties we have found are comparable.
