A bronze standard, Persia, 16th/17th century Cast bronze with blackish/brown patina. There is a bead-shaped inscription scroll running around both sides, and the open work centre bears the names of Allah, Mohammed, and Ali. There is an engraved inscription cartouche on one side at the end of the base. The top finial is incomplete. The two dragonhead finials for the outer rim are missing. Height 33 cm.
