Brazilica, a month of celebrating Rio style Brazilian culture in Liverpool where dancers and Samba Reggae drummers perform during a month of celebration culminating in a spectacular and colourful procession through the city. Samba dancers and Samba drummers, from various parts of Britain and some from overseas perform at various locations throughout the city wearing amazing costumes and make-up. The event was initiated during the year Liverpool was awarded Capital of Culture by The Carnival Company run by Roger and Maeve Morris who design the floats and produce the elaborate costumes.
