The transmission is a General Motors TH-400, 3 speed automatic gearbox with B&M race ratchet shifter, profab transfer box, caged drive shafts. This drives Inboard single disk per axle with independent front and rear master cylinders. Power front steering with high speed electronically controlled rear steering, including self centering and Nitrogen shocks with 30" coil over springs and Goodyear Terra tyres. It weighs Tonnes (10,200 Lbs) with dimennsions metres (12ft) x metres (12ft) x (18ft) Big Pete is Claimed to be the biggest monster truck in the UK and Europe. The event team regularly crushes groups of cars and sometimes caravans at events throughout the United Kingdom. This big truck is a genuine Peterbilt 359 aluminium bonnet and cab with a Big block 454 ci cubic inch ( litre) Chevrolet V8 engine and has a General Motors TH-400, 3 speed automatic gearbox with a military transfer case offering 2 or 4 wd wheel drive and high/low ranges. It has Power front steering with independent electronically controlled rear steering and Pettibone mobile crane axles (50 tonne rating!).
