The Austin-Healey 3000 combined BMC (British Motor Corporation) engines with Jensen Motors bodywork. Assembly was at the MG sports car works at Abingdon, Oxfordshire - a few miles from the 50th Anniversary Woodcote Steam and Vintage Transport Rally, where this example was displayed in July 2013. More than 17,700 BJ8 Sports Convertibles were built between 1964 and 1967.

The Austin-Healey 3000 combined BMC (British Motor Corporation) engines with bodywork made by Jensen Motors. They were assembled in the MG sports car works at Abingdon, Oxfordshire - just a few miles from where this superbly-preserved example was displayed at the 50th Anniversary Woodcote Steam and Vintage Transport Rally in July 2013. More than 17,700 BJ8 Sports Convertibles were built between 1964 and 1967, of which many were exported, especially to North America.
