The Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma Chaplain, CDR Jeffery Jenkins gives the invocation during the appointment and relief ceremony for Maine Aircraft Group 13 (MAG-13) Feb. 1, 2019 at the MCAS Yuma, AZ. Flightline. The Relief and Appointment ceremony is an honored product of the rich heritage of Naval tradition. The heart of the ceremony is the passing of the organizational NCO Sword by the Activity Commander from the outgoing Sergeant Major to the new Sergeant Major which signifies the transfer of responsibility, accountability and authority, from one individual to another.
