The ends of the truck are ofthe low down construction, so as to allow the truck to radiateunder the steps of open cars. One hundred of these trucks arenow being built for the Cincinnati Traction Company, and thecompany has sold 400 of them to the Massachusetts ElectricCompanies, of Boston. Mr. Peckham also expected to exhibitthe Aurora special truck built for the Aurora, Elgin & ChicagoRailway, described in the Street Railway Journal for Oct. 4,. In addition, the companyhad under the exhibit car of the Jewett Car Company built forthe Columbus, Delaware & Marion Railway, a pair of its high-speed No. 32 trucks, as described above, and also under the carequipped by the Kuhlman Car Company a pair of high-speedNo. 15 trucks. The Peckham Company was representedby Edgar Peckham, J. A. Hanna and F. A. Richards. After theclose of the convention, Mr. Peckham left for a trip through theWest. In addition to the trucks on regular exhibition, the Peck-ham Company was well represented in Detroit, as they sold manyequipments in that city. Among the companies using the Peck-ham 14A XX truck are the Detroit United Railway, the Detroit,Romeo, Rochester & Lake Orion Railway and the Detroit, LakeOrion & Flint Railway. MESSRS.
