S\iperb Mammoth Verbenas This is a grand strain of truly mam- moth-flowered Verbenas. It pro- duces uniformly magnificent trusses of which the individual flurets are all of unusually large size. It em- braces a wide range of most bright and distinct colors. The separate florets are frequently larger in di- ameter than a silver quarter; in fact, many can scarcely be covered with a silver half-dollar. Many of the trusses are composed of brightly colored flowers, each distinctly marked with contrasting eye, while in other plants the florets are in the richest self-colored shades. My seed is saved from an elegant collection of named varieties, and produces very large flowers of the richest and most brilliant colors; this, my best mixture, will produce healthy plants that will bloom most profusely from early summer until late autumn, either in the garden or as pot plants.
