The cut flower trade is about normal and the supply is all that can be de- sired. Roses are well represented and the quality is good, including Columbia, Ophelia, Sunburst, Hoosier Beauty and Killarney. American Beauties are of medium quality. Indoor sweet peas are in their prime'and some fine blooms are arriving. Carnations are plentiful and there is a good supply in all colors. Bulbous stock is well represented, such as daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and pheas- ant 's eye, which are mostly grown lo- cally. Yellow and white daisies, mi- gnonette and calendulas find a ready sale. Rome fine snapdragons are arriv iiig, which bring good prices. There is a variety of potted plants arriving from the local growers, such as fuchsias, Pelargoniums Easter Greeting and Lucy Becker; cinerarias and begonias. There is a big demand for dormant rose bushes and hardy perennial plants. Business was good in the seed trade all the week. Various Notes. Charles Stahbrodt, of Herman Town road, is bringing in some fine fuchsias and geraniums. J. E. B. Oriimell, la.—The Bough Greenhouse, owiied by William Bader, was the scene of a fire April 16, caused, it is believed, by a defective flue. The loss was not lieavy. Pittston, Pa.—Owing to the expira- lion of its lease and to the remodeling of the building, the William Street Florist Sliop, of which Martha Huntley is the proprietor, has moved from 8 William street to 81 South
