PORT OF SUVA, Fiji (Oct. 3, 2018) Members of the Fiji police force take a guided tour of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86), upon the ship’s arrival before commencing the Oceania Maritime Security Initiative (OMSI) program in the Port of Suva, Fiji Oct. 3, 2018. The OMSI program is a Secretary of Defense program leveraging Department of Defense assets transiting the region to increase the Coast Guard’s maritime domain awareness, ultimately supporting its maritime law enforcement operations in Oceania.
