It was the same wren-song with which I was familiar, full of those bubblinggurgling tones, but t stopped abruptly in the middle Ina few moments it sounded again and again the song was. -mm Figg 210-211 The wren would alight on the stumv and com-mence to sing; Downy would promptly drive him off.
