As Commanding General of ASC, McQuistion leads a global organization responsible for providing frontline logistics support to combat units to include the DFIP. The tour was guided by the DFIP commander, Col. Robert M. Taradash, commander, Task Force Protector and Brig. Gen. Dash Jamieson, deputy commander, Combined Joint Interagency Task Force 435. CJIATF 435 oversees all detention operations in Afghanistan. Taradash is the commander of the 42nd Military Police Brigade, which is an active duty unit deployed from Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. In this photo, McQuistion (left) is guided through a tour of the onsite medical facilities by Capt. Debbie L. Williams (center), physician assistant, Task Force Med and Maj. Benjamin Weitzel, pharmacist, Task Force Med. Task Force Med provides medical care to the guard force as well as detainees. Professionals in dental, pharmacy, optometry, mental health, radiology and physical therapy are all on staff at the DFIP to handle various types of medical care.
