Lok # 1 "Hultenheim" built in 1869 at Hatcham Ironworks, London, according to Fairlies patents. The locomotive, still with original boiler, exploded April 8, 1902 at inside the workshop in Eksjö. A vapor panning explosion is very unusual, but in this case the locomotive was newly revised and would among other things. The safety valves are tested. An incorrect lead gasket had clogged the manometer line so that too low pressure was shown. When the boiler exploded, the locomotive was thrown out through the roof and ended up on the railroad.
