Wayside Inn Grist Mill - The quintessential grist mill screams New England like few places do. The Wayside Inn is the oldest operating inn in the united States. It is very charming with it's rustic look and location in the woods. It's water powered stone mill is still in operation and produces corn meal and wheat flour. It is an iconic and historic site that opened in 1929. Beautiful any time of the year but in the winter when the snow covers the area it is even more representative of Massachusetts.
