March 1994. Ormanici, south-east Turkey. A Kurdish child sits in the ruins of her home which was destroyed by Turkish soldiers who accused the villagers of aiding guerrillas of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). Ormanici is the Turkish name given to the Kurdish village of Bane in the 1960's.
