The principal remains of this remarkable monument of ancient times, are to the eastward of the church, and con- sist of an assemblage of ponderous stones, originally com- posing three circles, together with some detached masses, difficult to account for, of magnesian lime-stone, of red sand-stone, and of a breccia composed of pebbles and grit, firmly cemented together.
