The Paulin Brothers Brass Band plays at Preservation Hall. Over 250 years old, Preservation Hall, located in New Orleans's famed French Quarter, has served as a private residence, tavern, inn, photo studio and art gallery. In 1961, it was christened "Preservation Hall," with the mission of protecting and honoring the historical musical art of New Orleans Jazz. Each night, eager jazz lovers gather outside its doors hours before its opening at 8:00 pm.
