The Henderson Waves pedestrian bridge, one of the lesser known pieces of imaginative design in Singapore.

The Henderson Wave bridge is a structure 300 metres long spanning Henderson Road in Singapore. It is 36 metres above the road at its highest point. It was built to connect Mount Faber Park with Telok Blangah Hill Park. The bridge had a unique wave form made up of seven undulating steel ribs that alternately rise and fall over and under the deck. The ribs alcoves provide seats and shelters. The decking consists of Yellow Balau wood, a SE Asian hardwood. At night, between 7 pm and 2 am the bridge is lit with LED lighting.
