Matthew Bartlett, 435th Air Ground Operations Wing, and Air Expeditionary Wing vice commander, visit one of the entry control gates at Air Base 201, Niger, Aug. 26, 2022. Leaders from USAFE-AFAF and 3rd AF visited Air Base 101 and 201 to get a "boots-on-ground" perspective of the current operating conditions and the USAF mission in West Africa.
