People try to cross a snow covered heavy snowfall in Spain, Madrid, the Spanish capital, is plunged into chaos due to ice caused by low temperatures. The snow storm Filomena gives way to an anticyclone that will cause minimum temperatures of up to -15ºC, and frosts of serious risk. According to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET for its acronym in Spanish) these are historical temperatures in Madrid.
