It is firmly bound to the tibia, at each tibia, the condyles of the femur, and patella, form theknee joint. The tibia and fibula, with one of the tarsalbones, called astragulus, form the ankle joint. This is a per-fect specimen of the hinge joint. The foot is composed of three sets of bones. The tarsal,metatarsal and phalangeal.
