They have four children living, and six have crossed to the other shore, awaiting the " meeting" and the " greeting " of the " loved ones" left behind. In 1867, Mr. S. was appointed Deputy Clerk of the District Court, and in 1868 was elected to that office, which he held for six years, being elected the last term without opposition.
