Make BD equal to AB, andEA and CF equal to ED ; also, each of the parallel lines, bearingthe same figures as 11, 22, 33, &c. Make GI and HJ equal toGD; also, each of the lines bearing the same figures as 11, 11,22, 22, &c.; thea a line traced through the points will form therequired pattern.
