Info from wiki: Columba In Ireland, the saint is commonly known as Colmcille. Colmcille is one of the three patron saints of Ireland, after Patrick and Brigid of Kildare. There are two stone fonts, one on the ground and one embedded in the wall. The wall basin was for washing eyes and the one on the ground for cleansing feet.
