Leader of Crimean Tatars Mustafa Dzhemilev seen during the celebration of the Crimean Tatars Flag Day in downtown Kiev, Tatars celebrate Crimean Tatar Flag Day annually on 26 June. The flag of the Crimean Tatars is a blue cloth with a yellow emblem - Tamga - in the upper left corner. The flag was first adopted by the Kurultai (national congress) of the Crimean Tatars in 1917, after the February Revolution in Russia. On June 30, 1991, the newly convened Kurultay re-adopted this flag as a national one, according to Wikipedia.
