Eupatoria - The Promenade, 1854. Yevpatoria is a city in Western Crimea on the Black Sea. It was the first port landed at by the allies during the Crimean War. 'The Promenade was, no doubt, a place much resorted to by the fashionables of Eupatoria in its palmy days. It is small in extent, and apparently but recently planted with trees'. rom "Illustrated London News", 1854.
