A worker taps rubber trees in one of the community plantations. The selling price of latex on the rubber auction market in Indonesia declined from Rp. 9,000 ( USD) dropped to Rp. 7,000 ( USD) per kilogram. This has a negative impact on the price of rubber on the international market, due to lack of demand for producers, especially in export destination countries that have closed or locked up during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic occurring in parts of the world.
