A study in shapes and contrast exists as the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) rises above it squared, lighter counterpart in the composition, the 200 S. Wacker Drive Building. Both buildings exist in the west Loop area of Chicago. The Willis Tower, once the tallest building in the world, remains the tallest in Chicago and one of the highest globally. Visible in the view are the four walk out observation platforms taht extend from the observatory atop the Willis Tower.
