It shall be the duty of the Keepef to undertake the general superintendence of the House of Industry and Refuge and the Industrial Farm attached thereto and when not otherwise engaged, shall devote his time to tilling and cultivating said farm, securing and harvesting the crops, or at other manual labor, according to the requirements of the several seasons of the year, and in order to work such farm in a skilful and husbandlike manner. He shall give his attention and time for the' benefit of the Institution, and shall carry into effect afl tTie Rules and' Regulations adopted from time to time by the County Council for the government and manage raent pf said House. ^ V He shall also furnish the Inspector with a, list of all the provisions required: which are to be provided by him, And it shall be his duty to see that the provisions furnished to the inmates are of good quality and sufficient in quantity and such as the Committee may approve of.'and he shall not allow any waste thereof, and 'shall not permit the use of mto-xicating diinksby arty of the inmates, and ail work done on the premises Xo be done as directed by the Inspector or C >mmi'tee of Management.
