Students are admittedto this class only after completing the courses described onpages 30 and 31, or, in the case of those who do not desire tocomplete the course, or who have received their preliminarytraining in other institutions, on passing a satisfactory exami-nation in drawing the human figure, either from life or fromthe cast. The Life class works from the Draped Model, and eachpose is arranged with as much reference to the study, eitherof historical costume or of beauty of decorative effect, as ofthe figure itself This class is under the personal instruction of the Pen-and-ink Drawing, from Photograph, by Vetnon H. Bailey, a pupil in the School. 34
