TAKES OVER IN NORWAY - From an improvised flying control post, 80 Halifaxes and Stirlings were safely brought in to Gardermoen airfield, near Oslo, on Norway's "V-DAY". Altogther during the first few days, 600 aircraft had their landings controlled from this point. Picture issued 1945 shows - Flight Lieutenant M.
