It is preferable to carry cartridges in a separatemagazine than in a tray in the gun-cases. Thesemagazines are made to carry 50—the neat littlecase carried by the trap-shooter—and 100, 200,300, 400, or 500, the last a substantial trunk,heavily made, and able to withstand luggage-porters careless handling.
