Proboscis fully developed; palpi upturned, the 2ud joint reaching to about vertex of head and moderately scaled, the 3rd minute ; frons smooth ; eyes large, round ; antennas of male veith bristles and cilia ; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales and without crests; tibiee moderately fringed with hair ; abdomen without crests. Fore wing with the apex rectangular, the termen evenly curved and not crenulate ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from upper angle; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole, 10 anasto- mosing with 11.
