Beijing Olympic Stadium, aka Beijng National Stadium, seen at night reflecting the blue light of the Watercube swimming stadium next door. As the main stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games, the National Stadium will host major track and field events and the opening and closing ceremonies. Designed by architects Herzon and Demeuron, the venue (also known as the Bird's Nest) has a capacity of 91000 spectators.
