Gaucho and daughter crossing the Pixaim River on horseback, Pantanal, Brazil
Every year in the fall in the Pantanal they have a festival called Cavalgada do Cavalo Pantaneiro (Cavalcade of Pantanal Horses) where ~150 horses and riders party and whoop it up and ride from fazenda to fazenda across the Pixaim River. It is a ribald occasion with lots of drinking, selfies and hilarity as people fall off their horses into the river. Notice that the daughter has her own set of stirrups.
