A general discussion followed. The next meeting will be held at the residence of L. Stapp, at Rock Island, January 12. A vote of thanks was ac- corded Messrs. Anderson and Sorensen. Various Notes. Ivhvaid Patten, who has resigned his position as foreman of the Stapp Floral Co., has leased the greenhouses of Miss Rose Woltman and henceforth will be proprietor and grower. He expects to build several new houses the coming year. A cottage now is in process of erection and will be occupied by the Patten family as soon as completed. The writer had the pleasure of view- ing a fine bed of mushrooms grown by P. G. Pearson, of the Bettendorf - Con- servatories. They certainly were in good crop. W. G. Bloomington, 111.—Bloomington now has one more florist, Frank A.
