Annual Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Queen Street, Edinburgh to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns, Scotland's National Bard. Amongst the dignitaries laying wreaths will be the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, Right Honourable Frank Ross, also the Lord Provosts of East Lothian and Midlothian, the Principal Officer at the US Consulate in Edinburgh, Ellen Wong and representatives from the National Trust Scotland, Edinburgh Freemasons and of course the Robert Burns World Federation. The wreath laying will be led by the President of the Edinburgh & District Burns Clubs Association Mr Gordon Jamieson.
