Robert Bacon, former Ambassador to France, having lunch on top of the historic tunnel of St. Quentin canal overlooking the battlefield. They are joined by Marshal Haig's aides, Col. J. Haizleton and Col. Fletcher. The location is Bellicourt, Aisne, France, and the photo was passed by the censor.
