Evangelists Moody and Sankey
Dwight Lyman Moody (1837-1899) was an American evangelist. After 1870, he was associated with Ira D. Sankey, and the two made evangelistic tours in the United States and in Great Britain. In 1879, he founded Northfield Seminary, and, in 1881, he founded Mt. Hermon School.
