When the writer called, Mr. Leach was busily engaged making a boiler to heat a recent addition to his plant, claiming that he could save tons of coal by doing this. J., and until two years ago was associated with his brother Rob- ert at his Wilkinson avenue place. Mr. Leach, in addition to growing chrysanthemums and asparagus on a large scale for the New York mar- ket, makes a specialty of poinsettias in pans, and is making arrangements to have 2,000 pans for Christmas.
